Dubai is without a doubt one of the most popular destinations for Muslim and non-Muslim alike. It is a lovely multicultural city with plenty of things to do, from tours, to shopping to delicious food, you have it all.
I have honestly lost count on how many times I have been to Dubai but I know that this city offers great budget options too, it is not all seven-star luxury. If you are planning a trip to Dubai but you are scared you might break the bank check out these great budget friendly hotels in the city. They offer everything you might need without a heart-attack on check-out day!
Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Muraqabat
I recently reviewed this hotel as I stayed there in April. The property is in a great location, close to the airport, a taxi away from the mall and even the metro is close by. The property is newly build located in the old Deira town with plenty of food options around. I felt safe walking around even at night and it gives you a true feeling the city. Currently, for November you can find rooms from £68 a night.

Holiday Inn Express Jumeirah Dubai
I stayed at this property last year for a night and I found it very comfortable. It was close to the airport for a very early morning arrival, the rooms are new, they are well maintained as the property is only a couple of years old. The hotel offers free breakfast to guests as well as a shuttle to the Jumeirah beach. An uber taxi to Dubai mall was less than £10.
Currently, for November you can find the hotel for around £55 per night. There have been days where I have seen it for around £40.
Ibis Styles Dubai Jumeirah
This is also a new property part of the Accorhotels portfolio. The hotel is closely located to the previous property with easy access to the airport, malls, the Jumeirah beach and anywhere else you would like to go. It is modern, fresh and for the price, you really can’t go wrong.

Ibis Dubai Mall of the Emirates Hotel
Love shopping? Well, you can’t get any closer than this to the Mall of Emirates. The property is located a short walk from the Mall and also close to the metro. It is a standard Ibis hotel option so rooms are smaller but for the price, location and amenities it is still great.
Rooms in November are around £60 a night but if you book during a sale you can find them for less.
Jannah Marina Bay Suites
Jannah hotels are actually a Muslim owned and friendly hotel in Dubai one of the few options in the city. The food is halal and you should expect a great service. It is located in the Jumeirah area close to the metro as well as the JBR walk which is one of my favourite areas in Dubai. Close to food, shopping, walking and the beautiful Dubai Marina. The property also has apartments available for larger families.
Rooms start from £100 in November but I have seen them even cheaper when booked early for around £75.[irp posts=”4286″ name=”Waldorf Astoria Dubai: The best Suite I ever stayed in”]
Flora Grand Hotel
Personally, I haven’t stayed in the hotel but this came from Tripadvisor recommendations. The property is a partner with Accorhotels so when booking on the site you can see them as well. It is in a similar location as the Hilton Garden is so I know it is very close to the metro, shopping, airport and food. The property is four-star and recently renovated so perfect for families. I love the fact the metro is very close and you can be anywhere in Dubai cheaply and easily.
Rooms for the property start from £59 in November.

Flights to Dubai from the UK or anywhere in the world can be found very cheaply thanks to the numerous airlines now flying there. You can always find the best option for you on Skyscanner. Currently, there are flights from the UK to Dubai for around £230 per person with Turkish Airways. One of my go to airlines albeit low-cost is Wizzair as they can have sales and flights for as little as £80 return.
Overall I don’t think Dubai is that expensive oasis many people think, with more and more competition and new hotels opening up daily there is plenty of options for those on a budget.
