09/01/2018 by Muslim Travel Girl 12 Comments

We recently stayed in the Hilton Convention Hotel Makkah, which is the newest Hilton addition in the Holy City. During my Umrah, I decided to try all three Hilton brands which we currently have available. The prices were right and the locations are great so I thought "why not". Plus it gives me more reviews for you guys. First stop for just 24 hrs was the Hilton Convention Hotel Makkah. The … [Read more...]

Hotel Review: Four Seasons Doha – Excellent hotel for a stopover in Doha or a Staycation

11/09/2017 by Muslim Travel Girl 1 Comment

When I moved to Doha, I heard the term staycation. I never had a real staycation; it was mostly a mattress run for points or a real travel trip to a different city. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel in my town. But being in Doha staycations do rub off on you, and so we decided to give it a go. It was our anniversary weekend, so we thought we would check out one of the best hotels in … [Read more...]

Hote Review: Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Muraqabat – Great budget option in Dubai

07/08/2017 by Muslim Travel Girl 1 Comment

This is a way overdue review of the Hilton Garden Inn Al Muraqabat Dubai hotel which I stayed in back in April when I was speaking at the Arabian Travel Market. I often get asked for budget good hotels in Dubai and I think this is one of them. Since I was in the area literary only for a night sleep I wanted to be close to the airport but also to the World Trade Centre for the event. The Hilton … [Read more...]

Hotel Review Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi, Price & Location are perfect

17/05/2017 by Muslim Travel Girl 1 Comment

Recently I had to spend few days in Abu Dhabi, which is my favourite city of all the UAE. One of the many reasons why I love this city is the fact that their five-star hotels are so much cheaper plus they have some nice beaches. I am not a Dubai fan so Abu Dhabi is the second best for me. On this trip, I decided to check out the new Marriott Downtown which opened in the past few months. … [Read more...]

Review of the Conrad Dubai Hotel; The Perfect Location

This past weekend was a ‘visa run’ weekend and I spent most of my time in the Conrad Dubai. For those of you who are not familiar, like me before expat life, those who come with their spouses abroad and still don't have a residence permit, need to leave the country every 30days to renew their visa. As I mark my first month in  Doha my 30 days was fast approaching and all it meant for me, was a … [Read more...]

18/01/2017 by Muslim Travel Girl 2 Comments

Recently I took a group of sisters to a women-only trip to Athens. We had so much fun that I will definitely be doing it again soon. I now feel I have made more friends which is always awesome. For our stay in Athens, I had picked the Hilton Athens hotel for several reasons. First, I always wanted to stay there and second the location is brilliant, I was also a Diamond member so I know we would … [Read more...]

Double tree Kuala Lumpur

16/11/2016 by Muslim Travel Girl 1 Comment

On our trip to Malaysia, we stayed in the DoubleTree Kuala Lumpur for two nights. It is in a central location and whether you book it on points or cash it’s cheap. Costing around £60 a night or 10,000 points. If you are Silver, Gold or Diamond your 5th night is free. The hotel is located about 3km from the Petronas Towers, which you have a view of. It is close to a metro station so you can … [Read more...]

On the second leg of our trip to Phuket, we headed to Paresa resort on Kamala Hills, one of the most sought after address in Phuket, known as the “Millionaires’ Mile”.
