So I have written about the KLM promo awards numerous times. I have to say that every time I use them I love them more, especially for Middle East travelling.
This past two month the KLM promo awards have worked awesome for me. I am speaking at 3(!) conferences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in October and November. First is the GIES (Global Islamic Economy Summit) for which I am chuffed to bits as it was a major goal of mine. And then I have the amazing World Halal Travel Summit in Dubai and also the opportunity for the MEADFA the annual Middle East Duty-Free Conference where I am speaking alongside Google. I have to say I’m so grateful for all these wonderful opportunities.
Anyways, back to my love for KLM promo awards. I had to book tickets for my husband and a one-way flight for myself. Knowing how expensive one-way flights are or to my local Leeds airport the KLM promo awards are lifesavers. I booked a one-way ticket from Dubai to Leeds for 10,000 points plus £50 taxes! If I were to book this for cash it would have cost me £450 per person. So it is a great saving.
KLM promo awards have some great deals on Middle Eastern flights with many destinations to Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh discounted to 50% costing only 10,000 one way. That is pretty cheap considering that taxes are also lower than BA and it takes you to your local airport. This month KLM promo awards also have Abu Dhabi discounted, so if you want to come hear me during the World Halal Travel Summit you are welcome. 🙂 Make sure to say Hi!
Abu Dhabi is very family friendly and I much prefer it than Dubai. Funnily the promo awards for August were 25% off while the promotion for September is 50% off. Sometimes it pays to wait. Some of these destinations also include December so it might be a good option for Christmas holidays considering that this year you get a full week with three days leave.[ms_divider style=”icon” align=”center” width=”100%” margin_top=”18″ margin_bottom=”14″ border_size=”2″ border_color=”#5cb2aa” icon=”fa-plane” class=”” id=””][/ms_divider]
