Bulgaria Veliko Tarnovo

Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria: A history lesson with great views

20/04/2015 //  by Muslim Travel Girl//  1 Comment

Veliko Tarnovo is one of my favourite cities in Bulgaria. I grew up close to it and we always enjoy stopping for a few hours to relax and enjoy the views. It is a well known tourist stop in Bulgaria and it is frequently visited by tourists especially in the summer when the lights of Tsarevets are on. It is easily accessible by car, train or coach and it takes only 2 hours from Sofia. Veliko …

Haworth Muslim Travel Girl

Haworth a beautiful village in the valley of Yorkshire countryside

07/04/2015 //  by Muslim Travel Girl//  3 Comments

Many people consider their hometowns or surroundings boring places and they travel to far away lands to make it exciting; including me. When I was younger we use to visit Corfu for the summer and work there in our hotel. This was the most boring part …

19/03/2015 //  by Muslim Travel Girl//  Leave a Comment

Yes, it is next to the holiest place packed with shops, food courts, luxury hotels and restaurants. This mall has raised a lot of differences in opinions and minds. Some like it and others don't. They say that it is so close to the holy mosque and that …

Photo Album of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muscat

06/02/2015 //  by Muslim Travel Girl//  1 Comment

I recently wrote about the beautiful country of Oman and the capital Muscat alongside a photo album of my trip. One of the things that I loved the most about Muscat is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. I have seen the mosque feature in many publications and on various quotes, Islamic and non-Islamic, as it has unique design. It comes on the top for me alongside the Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed mosque. I …
